Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast. A pleasant one-hour long transfer to Rastoke dam from where starts unforgettable cruise along meanders of Uvac. The area of Uvac was put under protection in order to save the habitat of griffon vultures. Upon arrival, we’ll board a boat and start with our cruise along the Uvac Lake for about four and a half hours. On our way we will visit one of the most beautiful caves in Serbia – Ice Cave – named so because the temperature inside it is constantly 8 degrees. The cave is reachable only by Uvac Lake and once arrived, we will need to take steep iron stairs to enter it. Since there is no lighting here, we will all for a moment become speleologists and miners as we will bring lamps on protective helmets.
Those who would like (and we definitely recommend) to climb to the gazebo will be rewarded by unforgettable view on Uvac meanders but also eagles and griffon vultures whose habitat is here.
Departure to Zlatibor. On our way back will make a coffee stop to enjoy a beautiful view on Zlatar lake.
Arrival to Zlatibor.
Meals: breakfast
Breakfast. Heading to Perućac, a touristic settlement on the western shore of Drina River, today our starting point for an exceptional cruise along the deepest canyon in the world -  Drina’s canyon that extends to Višegrad in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the pleasant 52 km long cruise we will enjoy the Tara National Park, experience the mouth of Žepa river to Drina, pass through the narrowest part of the canyon and see some medieval fortresses until we reach Višegrad. It is the place where Rzav flows into Drina and whose bridge over Drina, built by Mehmed-paša Sokolović in 1571 inspired the Nobel awarded writer Ivo Andrić in his work Na Drini ćuprija.
Leisure time to explore Andrić-grad, touristic complex which has been designed by famous director Emir Kusturica.
Return the same way to Perućac and then to Zlatibor. Leisure time.
Meals: breakfast
Breakfast. Heading to Memorial complex Kadinjača, a sight of utmost historical importance of this area. After a short sightseeing we’ll continue to Užice for a guided walking tour where, during a pleasant walk will see the hydro power plant on Đetinja river, the first in the Balkans which worked on Nikola Tesla’s principles of alternating current and literally built according to his designs. Leisure time for coffee and snack. If it will be open, we’ll visit also the Užice Fortress. Our next stop today is Potpeć Cave, one of the most interesting Serbian speleological locations. What is definitely awe-inspiring is its 50 metres high monumental entrance in the shape of a horseshoe but also the 500 metres long path that will take us through this particular cave. Now is time for lunch in traditional environment. That’s why we will take you to Terzića Avlija situated in Zlakusa village.
After lunch our hosts will show us the village and demonstrate local potters turning a lump of clay and calcite to a beautiful pottery. Which is in 2020 inscribed on UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
For the end of the day we have prepared you a surprise. Which you will discover when you arrive.
Return to Zlatibor.
Meals: breakfast, lunch.
Breakfast. Our first today stop is Kremna – the most pooling and most challenging village of Serbia, village of famous Serbian prophets Miloš Tarabić and his nephew Mitar. Short time to visit Memorial House of Kremna Prophets.
And now we are going to a romantic drive through the past with a railway wonder and one of most spectacular tourist attraction of Serbia – Her Majesty, the Šargan Eight. Upon arrival, boarding to „Nostalgija" train which will take us on a 2 hours long journey along Šargan Eight, the only narrow-gauge railway in Europe, only 760 mm wide.
On our way, we will also visit Bele Vode healing source and the beautiful church of Saint John the Baptist. The source was found quite accidentally in 1994, after the Kamišina river spill. Water alkality is very high, mineralization is very small and the temperature is 18 degrees, whilst the famous Serbian balneologist, prof. Tišma, claims that if washing your face regularly using water from this source your face skin will forever remain stretched.
Continue to Drvengrad Ethno Village, embraced by Tara and Zlatibor and known as Mećavnik or more popular Kustendorf (or Kusturica’s town). It was built for the needs of filming "Life is a miracle”. We will watch a short film in the cinema inside the town and then have a leisure time to enjoy this beautiful place and have a lunch. Departure to Zlatibor.
Meals: breakfast
Breakfast. Today is an active day during which we’ll explore the beautiful Tara. Pleasant drive to Zaovine village and beautiful, artificial Zaovine Lake created when Beli Rzav stream was partitioned with dams near the Kik peak (958 meters), with the deepest point on 110 m.
It is famous as a place where the living fossil tree was discovered – Picea omorika (Pančićeva omorika). In 1875, in Đurići hamlet the famous botanist Josif Pančić has discovered an endemorelic specie of conifer which has named after him – Pančićeva omorika.
We continue to Mitrovac where we will see unusual carpet meadows and after a pleasant walk through the forest reach one of the most beautiful Serbian viewpoints – Banjska Stena.
You are probably hungry so we are going to pamper your palate in Perućac, in a local restaurant on Godina river.
The real name of that river is Vrelo but because of its length – 365 metres – locals named it Godina (365 are number of days in a year). After lunch, following the flow of winding Drina river we will reach Bajina Bašta where is situated probably the most photographed attraction of this area – Drina River House.
